PATTERN - Tapered Wide Leg Pants MADELEINE - THISISKACHI

The tapered high waist pants MADELEINE include 3 PDFs: The full pattern in sizes XS to XL in DinA4, US letter and DinA0. You are able to print out the pattern at home and tape the pages together to be able to cut out your size. Please read the printing instructions that will be included in this purchase to be able to print correctly.

This pattern is WITHOUT seam allowance.

This pattern requires a bit of sewing experience, but can be done by beginners as well if you closely follow the instructions given in the previously linked YouTube tutorial on my channel.

I recommend 100% medium cotton for this pattern (Poplin or Canvas) or if you prefer other materials, you are welcome to chose whatever fits you best. Just make sure it's non-stretchy and not too heavy weight.

Materials:

2,00m fashion fabric (measured on 1,40m wide standard fabric)

0,20m fusible interfacing

1,00m fusible interfacing tape

25-30cm in zipper in a matching color

matching thread

Please make sure to read the size chart included in the printing instructions to make sure what size fits you best. If you happen to be between sizes, chose the larger and adjust the difference between your size and the pattern's size by dividing it through 4 which will be the amount you have to take in your pattern at the side seams (back and front) to fit.

Example:

Your size: Waist 68cm, hip 99cm. Chose pattern size M (w72/h100)

Pattern (M): Waist 72cm , hip 100cm.

Hip is okay, waist has a difference of 4cm. Substract 1cm for comfort, which leaves you with 3cm difference.

Side seam adjustment: 3cm divided by 4 side seams = 0,75cm

You will have to narrow the waist at the side seams by 0,75cm each.
